I've looked through the documentation, but I'm still not sure how to set thi
s
up.

I set up a promo_code for free shipping (100% discount). I can't seem to
figure out how I get the shipping amount (_cy_shipping_total) into the
pipeline so that the discount can be applied. With dollar and percent off o
f
order subtotal discount promo_codes, I have been successful.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Jack.

Hi, Jack,

basket pipeline should calculate the discounted shipping price
automatically. It will read the shipping configuration from Shipping cache.
And after running the basket pipeline, use your site code to retrieve the
_cy_shipping_total from Orderform and that should be the discounted price
you need.
