I'm new to WSPortal, so I need some help.

I have to build a small Portal, with some JSP showing static text and a simp
le module where people can register news to the Portal. because nowadays, th
e site has this module to register the news and they are stored in a databas
e.

how should I build something like that?? how do I work with a menu??

I saw something about the MemoryMenuTreePortlet class and I built a simples 
menu, but I can't link the JSPs with the nodes in the menu.
