Hi Stefan,
Sorry, I am stuck between IIS terms and CMS. In creating the read only
website in IIS, I choose the root directory where all the channels are store
d
on the hard drive for the Home directory. In doing this I can access the sit
e
by using w3.mydomain.edu/[channelname]. This displays the site in read-o
nly
just fine. We are trying to drop the site directly into the channel so the
Iusr only needs w3.mydomain.edu to see the site. We don't want them to see
the main channel name in the URL. When we change the Home directory in IIS t
o
point to the directory where the main channel is stored on the hard drive, w
e
receive the access denied 403. This directory is the same directory that is
used if the iusr entered w3.mydomain.edu/[channelname]. The logs don't s
how
anything but 403. I hope I have explained this a little better.
