Has anyone heard a result on case 00MP1013 on 6-29-04? Ms Drucker was
the arbitrator and Charlie was our rep. This is past the 30 days.
What ever you told Tommy Derrig made him happy. Thank you. He as a
member was surprised a your response time. I try to keep the membership
aware of what I feel is the good job both of you are doing for us.
Concerning Tommy's question, the person that got the job, had a current
MPE score since 1994 and requested his name to be place on all registers
as soon as he got here in Feb. Whether or not management posted the
register is moot. If he hadn't gotten the job, the grievance on this
employee's side would be I requested to be put on the register in Feb.
Why did you give the job to him? Going from MM-5 to MPE-8 is senior MM-5
not a promotion from a custodian.
If the job would have been posted before a written PER was up I would
be arguing the other way.
