I presume you mean to take the RHCE/RHCT exams, rather than write them. I
would guess that these are firmly aimed at the business environment and,
therefore, at the Enterprise Linux system. If you are funding this yourself
and find the cost of setting up a RHEL system, you could check out WhiteBox
linux, which is built directly from the (Open Source) RHEL source tree and
should, therefore, conform pretty much to your needs. I installed this on a
Dell Latitude C-400 laptop on a wireless network with no problems (though I
did make sure I had a compatible card in there first).
