Since the other methods were not convenient for me, I just did download
all that stuff (with up2date) over my dial-up Internet connection. It got
me 180 packages for RHEL 3 ES. It took slightly less than three days. I
did a bunch at a time, though. The first was up2date itself. Since it runs
in the background, you can do other stuff while it is going on. I would
avoid using the dial-up Internet connection for anything else though: it
would be too frustrating.
