FP Extensions Issue on WIN 2000 Server

We are running a Windows 2000 server with IIS installed.
The FrontPage extensions were enabled and running properly.

Out of the blue (meaning don't know what caused the
issue), when trying to logon to the web server using
FrontPage, we are being denied access. When researching
the problem, we discovered that under the server
extensions tab, a message appears that states 'This web is
running an old version of the server extensions. To update
the server extensions choose Upgrade Extensions from the
Task menu for this server'. When attempting to follow
these instructions, the response we get is 'There is no
web named "".'

Up to yesterday, the extensions were working fine. No
action was taken on the server to knowingly have caused
the extensions to stop working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Carlos

We are having the same problem. Do you know if your server was
windowsupdate upgraded prior to your problems? We havent yet figured
out what the problem is but if you solved we would like to know.

Hi Jais,

We are still searching for a solution. We have performed
Windows updates on that server many times before but we
have not done one within the time frame when the
extensions stopped working.

If we find a solution outside from the newsgroup, I'll get
it posted here.

Thanks.
