I am using iis 6 on a W2K3 box .....I have set up my first SSL site....and
when I point my browser to https://localhost/
I get my page, but when I it is pointed to http://localhost/ I just get an
error saying that I need to type a "s" after the "http" because it is secure
. How can I set up iis to automatically redirect the http://localhost to
the https?

Thanks!

Delali

Hi,

Try solutions provided in these Microsoft articles:

How to: Redirect an HTTP connection to HTTPS for Outlook Web Access (OWA) in
Exchange 2003 Server.
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;555126

HOW TO: Use ASP to Force SSL for Specific Pages
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;239875

I hope it helps,

Mike
