Recently we migrated to MSIB v2.5 from previous version. We are using CMS
2002 & CS2002.
We are trying to create rich product postings from simple producst for our
site. When we try to create RichProductPosting, we are able to create postin

for it in CMS, however RichContentPostingID value remains Null in the CS
product catalog. Due to this, we think that the created posting is treated a
s
simple instead of rich.

Appreciate if you throw any lights into this pls.

This is a response from one of the MS guys who is familiar to MSIB

I think (not positive) that the RichProductPostingID is created in the
ProductPosting.OnPostingCreated method, which is called in the
CmsPosting_Created event handler in the global.asax.  Maybe something
happened during migration and that event handler isn't hooked up or firing
correctly?
