I;m getting an access denied problem for the ASPNET account with this trace:

SharedFns.WriteToEventLog(....)
Microsoft.CommerceServer.Interop.SiteConfigReadOnlyFreeThreaded.Initialize(.
.)
....

I've looked around the newsgroups and found one regarding this problem. I
tried the adding Webuser account to the pool, physical temp folder, etc...bu
t
still getting the same problem. When I try to access a CMS site that we've
done before, it runs fine. When I just try to access /msib21 folder, it
gives me the error.

Please help!!!!

Thank you for using Microsoft Newsgroups.

Please provide more information, what OS are you using for the web server
and the SQL server? If installing in a single machine then there is a very
good document included in the MSIB documentation on how to build MSIB in a
single machine. For a distributed environment then there are a couple of
additional steps. Would you please confirm single vs. distributed?
Windows 2003 vs Windows 2000?

Thanks,

Maria Quian
