I've setup 2 development servers with BizTalk 2004.

When I bring up the BizTalk Administration Console (on either of them) and
look at the Hosts node, I see that the BizTalkServerIsolatedHost has a
"Runniing status" of "Status unavailable".

Is this normal?

If not, what should I do to fix this?

Thanks,

Michael

Yes. Isolated hosts are always marked as "status unavailable" and this is ab
solutely normal.
Isolated hosts are hosts that BizTalk does not control. The perfect example
if this is the IIS.
To receive HTTP messages, BizTalk has an ISAPI extension that runs within II
S. Since BizTalk does
not access the status for external hosts.

Note that if the host is an in process host, then you should always have a s
tatus. In that case, "status unavailable"
is a problem for in process host.

More on this at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/e....asp?frame=true

Thanks,
-Gilles.
