When I righ click on "all tasks/check server extensions"
on the console for the port of the website I have Front
Page Extension 2000 on i.e. 81 it gives me the following
message:
The server administration programs and the server
extensions on the web server are not compatible. The
administration program is too old to use with the server.

How do I correct this problem? Use dummy language please
<grin>.

Are you sure you only have FP 2000 Server Extensions installed? This is
normally the error shown when the FP 2002 Server Extensions are shown. The
reason is, the FP 2002 Server Extensions use a web-based administration
system now and cannot be run from the IIS MMC. You should be able to find a
link to manage the FP webs through a link under the Control Panel or
Administrative Tools (can't rememeber which one right now) that will launch
IE to the appropriate administration screen.

Hope this helps,
