Hi guys,
I am looking for feedback on Sequencing  products and categories in your
catalogs.We added a feature in FP1 where you can sequence child products
and categories in  a category. We are planning to improve upon this feature
in the next release, especially in the UI and I would appreciate any
information you have on how you sequence categories and products in your
catalog.
Some of the things I am looking for are

1. How important is this feature for you?
2. How often do you sequence products and categories .
3. What are the business processes if any that drive changing the sequences
of products and categories

Hi Vinayak Tadas,

Here are my views:

1. This feature is very important and I think everybody uses it. I
have developed 4 large sites using commerce server and I have always
used a custom field for sequencing products and categories.

2. Always used sequencing.

3. I don't think that this is related to any business processes. Its
generally a look n feel issue.

Hi:
I have tried to use your FP1 sequencing feature. I sequenced my products in
the catalog, now how do I get my catalog listing to sort using the sequence 
I
set up? Is there a column name I can sort by? I can't find very in depth
documentation on this anywhere.
