Is there any difference by installing SP3 instead of hotfixes? I know SP3 is
a collection of hotfixes, and there are three hotfixes in SP3 that I need to
install. Then, is it the same if I install service pack 3?

Yes installing SP3 will install all previously shipped hotfixes.
