I've seen this posted numerous times, but haven't found a solid answer to
this.
I have html page A in subweb B. I want to include html page C using a
FrontPage include, NOT the SSI include directive.
I used to have page C sitting in a subfolder of subweb B so it was like:
Subweb B
-----------
page A
|_ folder D
page C
when I would select page C from subfolder D, it would show up just fine in
the preview, but not in the browser. In the browser, rather than seeing page
C, I see page A duplicated, but as if all the images in it were referencing
files in subfolder D.
I moved page C up a level to be even with page A (subweb B). I try it again
and now I see page A duplicated in addition to page C.
I looked at page A in Notepad and saw the contents of page A in between two
bookended fp include tags. I delete the extraneous content and recalculate
the subweb. It put the BAD contents right back in there! At least now I see
page C, but I still see two A's.
I'm running FPSE 2002 on the server and FP 2003 as my client.
I've been fiddling with this all day. Does anyone have an answer for me. FP
is my only option (so say the bosses).
