Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me.

I have a .net Web application which connects to MCMS 2002.

I am using the MCMS Web Author console on a 'template file' page to do
authoring. For a particular MCMS database i have setup whenever i try
to approve content it gives the following error:

"Error - Approve Failed
The windows credentials provided could not be validated."

I've checked my user roles in Site Manager, and I'm definetly an
administrator. And the web author console recognises me as an
administrator as it displays all of the administrator actions.

I even checked the PAPI (using the c# code-behind page) and it shows
the current postings "Posting.CanApprove" property as "true"; & the
"CmsHttpContext.Current.CanApprove" property as "true".

If anyone could offer some assistance, it would be much appreciated.

Regards

> michael
