Hi,

I am attempting to do a simple AC APPLICATION /LIST within a VB.net
application. My goal is to build a custom Deployment tool that uses
Application Center to do the deployment but save other information in a
database.

I get the following error returned from my application:
Application Center 2000 Command-Line Utility. (C) Copyright 2000 Microsoft
Corp. The system returned the following error: Could not read key from
registry (0x80040150)
I almost ruined my registry adjusting permissions on keys. Regmon looks
like the following leading up to the problem:
OpenKey	HKLM\Software\Classes	SUCCESS
 OpenKey	HKLM\Software\Classes\CLSID	SUCC
ESS
 OpenKey	HKLM\Software\Microsoft\COM3	SUC
CESS

If I execute from the command line interactively, the output from Regmon
looks like:

CloseKey	HKCR\CLSID\{96BAFB7A-F410-11D2-BC19-00C04F72D7BE}	SUCCESS

and so on....

Can you tell by looking at this what the problem is?

Thanks.

Dave
