Hi,
I have a problem with our smtp virtual server, since
migrating to a Server 03-based domain. We are using an
NT4 server with IIS 4 to send email to 2 users in our
organization, when a form on a web page is filled out.
We have outsourced our email, but our old Exchange 5.5
server is still online in the old domain. We have found
that in order to successfully send the email, we have to
specify the Exchange server as a smart host. While this
works, 1 in 3 email deliveries is failing with the
following error- sales@b2bworks.net 553 sorry, that
domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
webmaster@b2bworks.net 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my
list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1).
Can we configure our smtp virtual server to send email
without a smart host? How can we resolve this error?
Thanks for your help.
Ed
