Hi,

Does the EventViewer contain any other errors? Seems like this might
possibly be related to the the XP-SP2 security settings clamp-down. It
looks like this might be specific to the COM+ settings on this box.

You might want to follow this up with Microsoft Product Support Services as
well if required.

Thanks,

This may not be related to XP themes.

Try the following:

When the message box pops up, instead of cancelling, go to the "Component
Servives MMC" (Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Component
Services) and see which COM+ applications are present.
If the COM+ application for Commerce Server Config doesn't exist, create it.
Then try and import COM+ components into it from MSCSCFG.dll (the dll
should be in your Commerce Server directory).
If this fails, then there is some issue with COM+ on your machine. That
should help you diagnose the problem better

If that doesnt work, try canceling the Commerce installation and going back
to the Component Services MMC. Make sure that there are no Commerce related
COM+ applications there. If there are, delete them. Then retry installing
Commerce Server.

Hope that helps,

Thanks,

madhur
