I have FP2000 Server Extensions installed on Windows 2003 SSI6. All
components work except for the search bot.

I am always getting a "No documents found. Please try again." response.

This is the URL that is returned in the address bar:
http://www.domainname.com/_vti_script/search.htm0.idq

Any suggestions as to how to get the search working would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

John

John: By default, .idq extensions (and many others) are locked down in IIS6.
You need to visit the IIS newsgroups to pose your question/problem.

Thanks Tom. I actually found the answer on the Index Server newsgroup. I
just had the index server misconfigured. Everything seems to be working ok
now.

Do you know if WAIS works with FP2000 on Windows 2003 IIS6 ? It seems that
would be easier than having to configure an indexing catalog for each
virtual website.

Hi John,

Wide Area Information Service (WAIS) search functionality is not included
in FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions for Windows Server 2003-based
computers.

Hope this helps
