if this is ot can you suggest another

new to this item--i know this should be a no brainer but i am having
some trouble

googling to no help--dell forums so far cannot post but registered

how exactly do you pull out a pii processor/
when i try i have to push one of the light gray upright plastic supports
pull up the processor part way and do the same to the other side--is
this right?

there is a circuit board in the other slot where another cpu can be inserted

it has the same congiguration supports as the other cpu slot
however

there are 2 black tabs one on either side
i have tried all sorts of combinations to uunclick these clips
in/out up down
to no avial--what the heck am i doing wrong here?

i assume putting memory is a no brainer--

any help relly is appreciated
