Hi Jacky,

i would suggest to update your was (base & pme) to 5.0.2.6
ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software...502_cf6_win.zip

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software...pme_cf6_win.zip

or, at least, update your pme to 5.0.2.3

and then udate your wps to 5.0.2.2
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pvc/w...dards/wsrp.html

in my portal i installed a jsr-168-portlet and i can use WSRP-portlets.

regards, tino.

Hi :
I have got knowledge from IBM online official Web Site . It said "If you
want to use WSRP and JSR168 with the IBM WebSphere Portal Version 5.0.2
Cumulative Fix 1 (5.0.2.1), you need to have WebSphere Application Server
Version 5.0.2.3 installed."
As WebSphere Application Server include WAS Base and WAS Enterprise , I
want to know which version is WAS BASE and which version is WAS Enterprise
when I want to get WAS 5.0.2.3 ready .

From James Yannotta mail , I have known , WAS 5.0.2.3 means WAS BASE
versin is 5.0.2.3 and WAS Enterprise 5.0.2.2 . The following is the mail ..

"

To upgrade from WPS 5.0.2 to 5.0.2.1, you need to apply BASE cumulative
fix 2 to upgrade BASE 5.0.2 to BASE 5.0.2.2, then apply Enterprise (PME)
cumulative fix 2 to upgrade PME from 5.0.2 to 5.0.2.2. Then you can
apply BASE cumulative fix 3 to upgrade BASE 5.0.2.3. Then upgrade WPS
5.0.2 to 5.0.2.1.

It is documented here:
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docvie...s=utf-8&lang=en

Alternatively you can install WPS 5.0.2.2. The installer applies all
fixes for you.

But now ,as you had said ,"at least, update your pme to 5.0.2.3" means WAS
Enterprise version is 5.0.2.3 . It's the mail from Tino .

enough ? or both ok ?

I am very confusing . Please give me the clear answer as soon as possible .

Thanks .

i think that they mean "at least" 5.0.2.3 as long as every new cumulative
fixpack superseded the one before.

i would suggest both should be 5.0.2.3 then.
in my environment both are 5.0.2.6 and wsrp and jsr-168-support is working
fine
(WPS is 5.0.2.2)

but there is a cumulative fixpack for base 5.0.2.7 available - so the most
recent version you could get is base 5.0.2.7 and enterprise 5.0.2.6

i think this email describes the procedure when there wasn't a newer fixpack
available then 5.0.2.3 for base and 5.0.2.2 for enterprise.
