Easyrider LAN Pro has put up a monitoring information forum at
http://www.vigilancemonitoring.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl

We're particularly interested in visitors and contributors who have
opinions/experience regarding computer infrastructure monitoring.
There doesn't seem to be anything in Usenet devoted to this topic so
we figured we'd just create our own.

We'd like to hear how Admins are currently monitoring their gear and
what tools and services they like (or don't like).

We will also accept postings from monitoring software vendors so long
as they don't become spam.

No thanks.  I use BigBrother (from bb4.org) and they don't force
me to register to find out if their site is commercial or not.

I'll pass.  Usenet has archives; a discussion board at what might be
some vendor's page could go away any time.  I prefer being able to find
stuff when I need to look for it in the future.
