Somewhere around Sept 17th all of the response forms (guest book etc) quit w
orking on our and our clients web pages. We have three sites hosted by Brave
net and one by EarthLink.
form results are emailed to ISP then forwarded to Verizon for retrieval. In
all cases if we send an email directly to the ISP the message is fwd to veri
zon so it appears that only messages that originate via a form is lost in sp
ace.

We have contacted Verizon and they are not blocking messages. We have conta
cted Bravenet and they claim to be getting the messages and fwd to verizon.
Earthlink, as of 10-18-04 is having problems with their system which affect
s emails sent from web site.

When we upload to Earthlink or Bravenet we get messages indicating that they
are not set up to receive FrontPage emails etc.. In the past we never had
a problem when this message appeared. Thinking that maybe we had a program
problem we upgraded to FP 2003 with no change.

It appears that we have several issues here. What we are trying to do is is
olate the problem so that we can fix it. Has anyone experienced similar cha
llenges. Are we dealing with net security issues here? Something has chang
ed since Sept. 17th. when we first noticed the problem.

Thanking the group in advance.
Rick

You really need to try and isolate what happened on your side September
17th. What was changed? What was installed?

Check the event logs and FP logs on your local computer(s) and ask the
host(s) to do the same (including server logs)
