sorry, I can't reply on the last post.

yes, I am using RADIUS to authenticate my clients, with microsoft IAS at the
 moment.
I will have to use cisco ACS later on instead of IAS.

I read that WPA was not supported on the wireless settings GPO on Server 2003 till SP1.
I tried do the microsoft configuration (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/se...nce/peap_b.mspx) without any succes.

if someone knows a bit more about that...
thanks a lot.
nathalie

Information on how to add WPA support to add wireless Group Policy with
Server 2003 today is available here:

http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;811233

SUMMARY
The new Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies feature lets you apply
Active Directory-based Group Policy settings to your Wi-Fi Protected Access
(WPA) wireless network. By using Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies,
you can add, edit, or remove wireless network policy settings. You can also
define preferred wireless networks and define 802.1X authentication.

Isn't it possible to allow GPOs only for desktop and control panel policies,
on already configured wireless laptops ? (I mean, I don't need to configure
wireless settings in my GPO as it is already configured on my clients. I on
ly want to apply GPOs via a secured WPA connexion...)
the hotfix page you gave me is just linked to a hotline support, but nothing
can be download can't it? I mean, can I download this hotfix as it is possi
ble to download Microsoft patches and service packs?

thanks...

I would just like to add that you can't do 802.1x with WPA, only with WEP
(Set in GP)

OK for the hotfix, even if I don't understand why it can't be downloaded dir
ectly from the net...

However, I still don't understand why GPOs don't work under an EAP-TLS (with
WPA) wireless network, already configured on XP clients...
Is it a problem on the certificate, on the remote access policy, on the Acti
ve directory??
(GPOs work on a non secured wired network, and wireless EAP-TLS + WPA authen
tication works fine too - I can see it from the AP and from the Event Viewer
).

thanks,
nathalie
