I am running Redhat 7.2.  I just bought a new d-link (compatible)
ethernet card. When I run the hardware detection it detects it. I
need to install the drivers, but not sure how or where to install it.
The driver is (rtl8139.c). Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Mark

If it's detected then you need to configure the card for use. Check the
output of 'cat /proc/modules' without the quotes to be sure. FYI;
rtl8139.c is the source code to the driver rtl8139.o

Here's a link to get you started with your configuration;
