Hi all,
1)i undestand that most of the time you would use tracking profile
editor when baming orchestration data.
but is there any senario where one would use interceptor class with
orchestration .

2)i have publisher and a subcriber orchestration .publisher send
messages to biztalk msgBoxDb and subscriber reads message using a
direct port and writes it two a file.

also publisher's receive port is exposed as a webservice.

now for my testing i am calling this webservice and feeding it 2000
xmlMessages.
everything works fine and my subscriber orchestration writes 2000
files.

now i feed it 6000 messages ..if i try to feed 6000 messages at once
in webservice ,webservice times out so i use the same
call but call it three times...i have put a break point in my calling
application so i am sure that i have fed 6000 messages to Publisher
orchestartion...

but now subcriber orchestartion does not write 6000 files ...each
time i run the test i get different number of files..
last time i ran i got 4600 files...

so messages are getting lost some how ...also i see this warning in
event log....but there are no error..

1) You're right that we provide Tracking Profile Editor as an easy way to co
nfigure the interceptor for orchestrations. We
have not seen anyone having the need to use the interceptor directly within
the orchestration.

2) I'm taking a guess here. Check that the BizTalk service is still running.
Does restarting the BizTalk service help? Also,
check on Knowledge Base of Front Page for the Front Page warning. Anything i
n HAT?

3) Please read the BizTalk online help: Section "Archiving Primary Import Da
tabase Data". The following link is provided
for your convenience:

Derek
