That depends on what bandwidth you want to burn.
If you intend to run an unrestricted mail2news expect a lot of traffic and
abuse.
In my opinion it is much more difficult to run a mail2news than a remailer.
There are several options:
You could run your own news server, have a look at dnews. It has a nice
http function, see https://www.panta-rhei.dyndns.org/cgi-bin/dnewsweb.exe
If you just want to allow others to use your posting route I could give you
my ReliMod. It has a built in m2news gateway which basically just converts
email to a mail2news address into an anon-post-to message.
I suspect it would not hold up very well under heavy load, but it works
nice for me as I have only little traffic thanks to hashcash.
Email me on admin at panta-rhei.dyndns.org if you are interested, or need
help,
Cheers,
panta-admin
