    Backup software

Hi all, I've been searching for previous messages about which backup
software to use, I have visited the web pages people says but I need
something really simple.

I just want to save my selections and make a copy to another drive or even a
directory (after that I can burn it and delete). The winXP backup utility
could be enough for me, but it makes a single file from all the selections
and I just want to copy.

Do you know any software that does it? I don't want a big application, nor
compression...

Thanks in advance

Here's a re-post of a backup software compilation message from a while
back. You may wish to focus on XXCopy.

================
Somewhat recently there were a few threads that referenced backup software.
I had been keeping those messages for reference and today I reduced the
messages to the basic information. Here it is if you care.

All links valid as of this posting.

Go to www.karenware.com
and look at Replicator. Great utility and it is free.

You forgot to mention Backup4all, http://www.backup4all.com .
Victor, I think you need to use the mirror feature because it will actually
copy the files to the location you want, without compressing those.

We'd side with Handbackup. It's affordable and effective. Unlike many prog
rams we've had consistently good experiences with a very affordable program.

We usually use it on personal PCs to perform online backups. One of our favorite sites
 is www.easiestfilesystem.com
