What you "believe" is irrelevant. Fedora has been deployed
throughout our backoffice infrastructure and that of several
other companies we deal with and it is as stable as a rock.
Not a single problem, ever. A few months ago we moved some
of the servers to FC2. Still, no problems and improved performance
on the data processing and serving end.

Fedora is as stable as any other solid distro. Don't make an idiot
of yourself by simply repeating the bullshit you hear from Red Hat
about how Fedora shouldn't be used in production environments.
That's their way of playing down the free version in favor of the
paid version. You have to keep in mind that the free version has
both Red Hat and community support.

Agreed.  Especially since they will be running these are severs rather
than desktops.  Let's face it, most of the "unstable" junk goes on with
the desktop in mind.  *Most* everything else will be rock solid.  And, I
doubt they did this without testing and/or planning to test first anyways.
Chances are, these guys have more experience than all the nay-sayers here,
put together.
