hello,
i have a laptop, and the most recent version of ghost2003, for backup
i want to use a maxtor 250 usb drive. the saving of a partition works
fine.
i generated a bootable cd, including usb 2 support (i also test usb
1.1) but in both cases when i boot the laptop the usb drive is not
visible, looking in the config.sys just a lastdrive statement (there
was a kb article regarding the config.sys, which should include some
usb drivers).
i also read that ghost does not support hubs, but i think this should
be resolved in the latest version.
my question is: how can i make a bootable cd with ghost, which can
restore from my usb drive?
thanks,
hubert preissl

Don't know if your laptop is similar to my Toshiba but if I want to
boot from anything other than C: (eg floppy, CD/DVD, jumpdrive,
network etc) then I have to hit the F12 key during bootup to get a
boot menu to select the desired boot device. Yours should probably
have a similar option - it comes up as a line at the bottom of the
screen for me - F2 for setup, F12 for boot options.
