Hello,

I need to validate HL7 data, such as string length of particular element is
longer than the target database table element.

The business rule is to truncate the data to the size of the field in the
database and then log the fact that is was truncated.

Where do you suggest I do this kind of validation (i.e. receive pipeline,
orchestration, etc.)

Any suggestions would appreciated!
