We've set up a new website on IIS in SBS2K. When I go to the server, logon
as Administrator, open the IIS console, right click the website, and choose
All Tasks | Check Server Extensions 2002, I get a web page that says "You
are not authorized to view this page".

There are other things that cause "not authorized" messages. How do we
regain the ability to administer our website?

Perhaps IIS has is not running under the Administrator account. I know when
Trend Micro's Office Scan barfed its late-night update meal, it reset it's
account to guest, and nothing that we told it to do worked. It took the
second level support specialist, and two hook-ups to my SBS system, before
the engineer though to check that parameter.

You should ask such questions in the Windows.Server.SBS newsgroup.

As another suffered of this particular problem, I sure would have loved to
have known the details of how to fix this problem. Also, what is 'Windows
Server.SBS newsgroup"? I don't see such a group listed in the newsgroups
list.
