I'm running WC 5.5.0.3 on a Win2K server and am experiencing the following:
if an administrator is logged in to perform user maintenance (e.g., adding a
user, changing password), catalog maintenance (changing a category) or some
other type of administrative function, the JVM will hang. It doesn't always
happen, and when it does nothing is logged in the trace.log or systemout.log
files.
At least one tech has told us "don't perform maintenace during 'peak'
hours." Since performing maintenance of the sort noted above must generally
be done on demand, waiting until 3:30 AM isn't exactly an option.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and, if so, how was it resolved -
heck, even diagnosing the problem would be of help!
