Once we converted to WAS 5, we have continously experienced application stal
l seemingly caused by runaway HTTP processes. In 3.5.3, we had no problems.
We have upped the http.maxclients but still seem to reach this limit. Has
 anybody seen this and know
what the cause may be?

Hum, is websphere itself having a problem communicating back to IHS? I
think I've seen it before where websphere has problems communicating back
to IHS, and as requests keep coming in, IHS processes keep rising. If
this is the case, figure out what is going on in websphere, and the IHS
problem should clear up.
