About every 8.5 hours our system event log shows the following message
from the Service Control Manager, event 7031: "Backup Exec Job Engine
service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).  The
following corrective action will be taken in 60000 milliseconds:
Restart the service."

If this happens when a backup job is running, about 6 minutes later
Backup Exec says that the drive hardware is offline (message 58053)
"the drive hardware is offline!...", and then the backup job fails.

Is anything like this happening to anybody else?

Did you ever find a resolution to this problem?  I'm experiencing the same t
hing with BE 10 on Windows 2004 Storage Server edition.
