I'm not even sure what the best newsgroup for this is...so if you
could let me know, I'd appreciate it.

We're using Webalizer to view our Web site's stats...but we're not
sure how accurate they are. It seems like we should be getting more
hits.
Is there some other way to gauge, compare and contrast, with
Webalizer?
Is that even possible?

I know Webalizer uses the httpd access logs...I guess you can't get
more accurate than that. But I know we're getting people coming from
Google (for example, myself, serching for us, finding us on Google,
and clicking the link), yet Google isn't on the list of referers.

I'm just wondering if it's possible that either access logs might not
be accurate or Webalizer might not process them right.

Thanks for any suggestions!
Liam

they tend to be unless they're truncated for whatever reasons. and i
don't know webalizer but analog gives number of lines processed and
number of discarded lines in the report. then you can easily compare
wether you get all.
