Is it possible to manually invaildate/flush the cache of WTE? If so, how?

Does it mean deleting the files from in directory tree of the proxy server
or is there some kind of script language which we can write a function in?
Better still is there an existing function nicely attached to a button for
newbies like me?

Michael, as far as I'm aware, there is no way to flush the cache without
stopping and restarting Caching Proxy. If you were doing a filebased
cache, then you would NOT want to delete the cache file as I'm sure CP
wouldn't handle its sudden disappearance well

Anybody else know of a way?

Jeff

hmm, I'm a bit new to this, but would an invalidation of the cache produce
the same result (from the perspective of a browsing user) as flushing the
cache. i.e. causing the proxy to request fresh pages from the webserver
rather than taking from it's cache?
