Actually you should be getting prompted for the port number when you
add the cert to your virtual server in IIS web site properties,
directory security. Click on server certificate. You can remove it,
and then do it again and add it back in. Certificate wizard should
prompt you for a port number after you select "assign an existing
certificate" then select the cert you have on the server. You can
enter anything you want there. It just needs to match the SSL port in
the website properties tab.
