Hi Jerold,
Well, the drive is about 18 months old and is used 5 nights a week.
I ran HP's diagnostic software and it made me run the cleaning tape
repeatedly.
After that little episode, the girl in charge of swapping tapes is supposed
to run the cleaner every Monday morning, although I'm not there to check!
Of the data, 16Gb is general office data (I don't know where they get it
from) and then I would like to back up exchange, which is 10Gb, but
obviously I'm not doing that at the moment.
Is it possible to get some stats (such as compression ratios) back from
NTbackup?
best wishes,
NEIL
