I can't find anything there. I think you may have missed the word
"flash" in the subject ?
Peter.

Yup. missed it.
20GB flash is going to to be pricey, but I expect you already knew that.
Since cost tracks pretty well with capacity and a 2GB CF card costs $100,
it'll be at least $1000. More becasue it's not a mass-market item.

If I can get 20GB for US$1000 I will buy it now I have seen one
quote of $8000.
It wouldn't be hard to construct a module with an IDE connector one
side and a lot of compactflash connectors on the other. CF is already
very close to IDE; one would just need to interleave the accesses (to
get decent speed) and do some block remapping otherwise windoze will
wear out the spot where the swapfile sits

You can get a CF-PCMCIA adapter for a few bucks, which tells me it's
just wires, and there PCI cards that have PCMICA slots. Lots of
system-on-a-board products have a PCMCIA slot on them. I've built a
couple CF card-based systems with them. The linux disrto (Pebble) was
hacked to load into ram and then make the root CF file system RO, which
required kernel hacks. It runs in 64MB. Ain't linux great.
There are 4GB CF microdisk cards that won't suffer from the sector
write cycle problem, but they have other lifetime and power issues.
FWIW, I've seen it stated that modern solid-state CF cards have logic
in them that spreads the write cycle wear across all the cells and it
isn't a problem any more.

Check these: http://www.nextwarehouse.com/lcat.cfm/1082/Flash%20Disk
and the data sheet at http://www.delkin.com/oem/pdf/dd59.pdf
The Delkin thingies look like they'll do the job for $1842 for 10GB,
$2850 for 16GB, and $5582 for $32GB. (Although currently all out of
stock at that vendor).
Granted, current retail pricing on high-performance CompactFlash cards
is running just under $100/GB for capacities up to 4GB (2GB CF starts
at $140 or so, not $100, and that's the low-performing consumer
version), so you're paying a premium, but it's less than 2X, which is
pretty good considering the relative volumes between CF cards (sold by
the truckload to consumers) and a specialized device (not sold to
consumers).

You'd run into complications with the form factor, but you could
produce a "brick" of CF cards using that technique.

to drain on paper towels.
Make a roux with butter, oil and flour,
brown vegetables in the roux, then add chicken stock and
allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
Add the patties or stuffed heads, and some loose crawfish,
lobster, long piglet, or what have you.
Cook on low for 15 minutes, then allow it to set for at least
15 minutes more.
Serve over steamed rice; this dish is very impressive!
Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Babies really can be found under a cabbage leaf -
or one can arrange for ground beef to be found there instead.
8 large cabbage leaves
1 lb. lean ground newborn human filets, or ground chuck
Onions
peppers
celery
garlic
soy sauce
salt pepper, etc
Olive oil
breadcrumbs
Tomato Gravy (see index)
Boil the cabbage leaves for 2 minutes to soften.
In skillet, brown the meat in a little olive oil,
then add onions, peppers, and celery (all chopped finely)
and season well.
Place in a large bowl and cool.
Add seasoned breadcrumbs and a little of the tomato gravy,
enough to make the mixture pliable.
Divide the stuffing among the cabbage leaves then roll.
Place seam down in a baking pan.
Ladle tomato gravy on top,
and bake at 325° for 30 - 45 minutes.
Umbilical Cordon Bleu
Nothing is so beautiful as the bond between mother and child,
so why not consume it?
Children or chicken breasts will work wonderfully also.
4 whole umbilical chords (or baby breasts, or chicken breasts)
4 thin slices of smoked ham, and Gruyere cheese
Flour
eggwash (milk and eggs)
seasoned bread crumbs
1 onion
minced
salt
pepper
butter
olive oil
Pound the breasts f
