I set our netapp server password with an embedded wildcard. It took
the change, but now I can't logon to it. Any idea which file I can
restore to get back the old password? Filer OS release 5.4.

I haven't had to do this in quite some time but if I remember right you can boot from your floppy boot set and go into maintenance mode. There is a password change function at that point. -- Mike Miller If all else fails - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! or if you like "If all else fails - THROW HARDER" Robert Smith(pro bowler)
