We are using SCO UnixWare 7.1.1. When I checked systems memory status,
I see 42% of swpmem, 0% of swpdsk. I know 0% of swpdsk means nothing has bee
n
swapped from memory disk. However, what does 42% of swpmem mean?
Can anyone help me out figure out this? What is swap memory for in the syste
m?
Is it part of physical memory area? What is the relatioship between it and
swap disk space? The memory usage is about 50%.

Thanks in advance
Hugh
