I was just wondering if AIX 5.2 provides any alternatives to the
traditional poll() and select() routines ?

For example, other OS'es provide "/dev/poll", "/dev/epoll", epoll(),
kqueue(), or other mechanisms that are either faster or scale much
better than the traditional mechanisms. Does AIX 5.2 have any ?
