Got this odd problem with RH9

Got a Fuji finepix A205 it is set up as a mas sotrage device and works
no problems with my damsmall linux box (gloryfied mp3 palyer) well red
the docs on USB and It works sometimes with red hat 9

the first thing I did was to try mounting the device just using bash no
problem then added to /etc/fstab

/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbfuji auto
user,noauto,exec,umask=000 0 0

just ignore the linewrap

now I can mount the device by typing in bash mount /dev/sda1 or use the
user mount tool but when I started using this approch It would only work
after a warm boot from Windows, Now It works only some times either
warm or cold boot it dont matter in all caces the device is not hooked
up at boot.

so I thought it is a module that is not loaded at boot time, guess what
I cant find lsmod or insmod or rmmod, Hell after using Slackware and
compiling kernals so I didnot have to use modules and only getting use
to them using Mandrake and e-smith only to find that the tools I have
gotten to know arn't there I am getting pretty cloce to totaly re
building my RH9 like this Minimal install of the bace os and DL source
for everything elce and compile compile compile not that I have the time
to do that realy it is just there seem to be locks in the system that
drive me crazy.. or is it just me?
