I have installed RH9 in one partion of a Compaq Pressario Laptop(XP in
another). I am having trouble setting up the hardware/software for internet
access.
PROBLEM(s)
1. During BOOT, loader says "ethernet no cable attached". Computer has a
built in 802.11b wireless adapter - that is what I want to use. I have not
tried to connect the ethernet port/cable etc. The laptop connects to a
Linksys Access Point(wireless), the access point connects to a D-Link router
which in turn connects to my cable modem(wired).

2. MOUSE! The built in scroll mouse works but when at home, I prefer to use
an external mouse like
a. USB connected HP Scroll mouse or
b. USB wireless connected scroll mouse
The system sees none of them
3.DISPLAY The built in display can goto as much as 1600 X 1400
dpi(Windows). RH thinks it is only as high as 800 X 600 - looks very ugly!

Item 1 is the most pressing of these 3 items. I can work on problems 2 and
3, but item 1 is a killer. Any help is welcome and thanks in advance.
