Hey everyone.

I am running RH 9.0 and would like to mirror my system HD.  Here is my
setup.  I installed RH 9.0 on an 80GB HD.  It takes up the entire disk.  I
also have another 80GB HD on another controller.  The second disk is
formated DOS Fat32 using a DOS boot disk before I install RH 9.0 on the
first disk.  The second disk is empty so I can do whatever I need to do with
it.

1.  Can anyone tell me how I would go about mirroring my system disk to the
second disk from this point?
2.  Can anyone ALSO tell me how to mirror two disk at OS install time?

If you mean with "mirroring" then you speak about RAID1. It is available
at boot time as an option. Very easy to setup. It is described in the
documentation.
To setup a RAID1 array after installation it is not possible. If you mean
with mirroring just to have a running image of your system then you can
use dd to make a 1:1 sector copy.

Absolutely not true.

You can set up RAID after install.  I have done this many times.
Granted, the procedure is not for everybody, but if you have problems
or questions regarding post install setup of RAID 1, feel free to ask.

Ok, you are right. but I meant it for the normal or low experienced users.
It is not trivial and requires a lot of knowledge about linux software
raid. And the original poster seems not to be that experiences. I feared
he will loose his data in trying to migrate.
