Hey all,

I'm trying to find out some things about the websphere portal server
and how it indexes external resources (sites).
From what i've read so far, it seems the document collection should be
the key for this trick.  However when a site (URL) is added to the
'Sites in Collection' the following is shown :

IO error
Url is not avialable, site either unavilable or blocked by
robots.txt, url: http://existing-site/

The logs in the log/ dir of the portal server don't mention a thing
about it. where can i find more details on this error ? i expect some
exception to be thrown somewhere...  but where is it logged ?
