Hi I've got this problem. I want to make an exact copy of the hard drive I
use in my Foxtex audio multitrack recorder. It uses ordinary quantum HD.
This machine has it's own file system compatible only with other Fostex
products. Do You know any PC software that can make something like RAW
byte-by-byte copy of the drive? Thanks for Your help. Kamil

Without knowing more about Fostex hardware, it's difficult to answer.
A quick scan of the newsgroups indicates you may have better luck
asking in <news:rec.audio.pro>, since Fostex recorders are frequently
discussed there.

XCLONE13 will copy a disk to another disk. The target disk can be either
the same size or larger.

I got it at Simtel a while ago.

dd.
Burning a Knoppix CD-ROM would probably be the easiest way to use it.
