Okie dokie.
But one thing I might ask, if you're using asmodeus as last in a chain and
still get the spam messages, would that not imply that every other remailer
in the chain is not doing the job or is somehow in cahoots with asmodeus?
I think you're a liar.

Well I am using my real address so I am not lying. Asmodeus does
not allow you to post to all groups. I have pointed this out in
the past and the admin, who posts here, ignores me. There is no
way of knowing which newsgroups are filtered out and why those
groups are filtered out. You can spend hours, as I did, trying to
get the damn thing to work only to conclude, at the end of the day,
that the group you are trying to post to has been filtered out.
Asmodeus is, quite literally, a waste of time.
cordially, as always,

I wouldn't debate at all the lack of merit of asmodeus; the list of reasons
why not to use it is long. It's just when somebody says the last remailer
in a *chain* is leaking information which should have been stripped from a
message by any and all of the previous hops, you know they're full of crap.

Try your test with mit.edu or bigapple and I bet you'll get the same results
.
Any real address posted to Usenet will get spam, irregardless of the posting
method.

That's not what he's saying, moron. Notice how he specified every situation
where Assholeus would be in a position to actually KNOW the address; first,
last, or with no remailers ( for the new "Asmodeus Quick Hose" system).
I think you're disingenuous as hell, but luckily, not as brilliant as you
seem to think you are. Sounds a lot like the Assholeus admin.

Not the brightest of sparks, are you.
Consider the following and tell me where your comment makes
sense...
1. SMTPServer(Mine)->Asmodeus->Anywhere
2. SMTPServer(Any)->remailer1->Asmodeus->MyEmailAddress
3. SMTPServer(Mine)->AsmodeusQuickPost
#1. Email address associated with SMTP server = Only received
SPAM after being used as described.
#2. Email address used for recipient = Only received SPAM after
being used as described.
#3. Email address associated with SMTP server = Only received
SPAM after being used as described.

The answer is clear--avoid it. My own experience with them was they they
did not strip out my name and email address, but inserted it into the NG
posting, as though I had submitted the post directly from my newsreader.
Who needs that crap?
Prudent people will stay away from it.

You must have done something amazing. I use it almost
exclusively as the last hop remailer, and have never had 'real'
information show up.
If I do not use a from name, as here, it will supply one. If I
make up a from name, that is what will be in the post.
It is also fast and reliable. As far as I am concerned you can't
beat it as a last hop remailer.

All I know is what it did to me. I will never use it again.
